All marks need to be entered into Moodle, for all assessed items.

There are several methods available in Moodle. Choose the one that best suits your assessment and feedback preferences.

Assignments submitted via Moodle

Quick Grading allows marks and comments to be inserted directly from the View all submissions page.

Standard Grading, which is accessed through the red Grade button, allows you to attach feedback comments and files.

Feedback Studio is the most comprehensive grading and feedback method: various types of feedback (QuickMarks, written, or voice recorded), rubrics, and marking forms can be used. We recommend this option for marking online. There are detailed help pages for this method in the Turnitin section of these eLearning Resources.

Offline Grading Worksheet is a spreadsheet that can be downloaded from Moodle.  Marks can be entered into the spreadsheet, then uploaded to Moodle.

Assignments not submitted via Moodle

Quick Grading allows marks and comments to be inserted directly from the View all submissions page.

Standard Grading, which is accessed through the red Grade button, allows you to attach feedback comments and files.

Offline Grading Worksheet is a spreadsheet that can be downloaded from Moodle. Marks can be entered into the spreadsheet, then uploaded to Moodle.

Manual Gradebook Items - these can be entered directly into the gradebook.
